Skip if you don’t have PointsBet promos?

    • Dakink Posted October 10, 2020 12:27 pm

I was just going to Mug it against.

We recommend skipping if you don’t have Pointsbet but you can dutch Bet365 with another bookie for a mug-bet if you like, it’s just a very low hit-rate promo so we typically don’t suggest using it on it’s own

How do we prevent unmatched bets on betfair, when converting bonuses using racing back/lay method

    • MD1106 Posted October 10, 2020 12:34 pm

Place your back and lay bets fast, making sure you have the right prices. Sometimes the lay odds might swing out really late and then you either do an in play bet or just hope your bonus bet wins

        Cheers MD

Another way is to set the lay odds slightly above the available price before clicking the “Place Bet” button, so that if the odds bounce up slightly you will still secure that higher price you set (instead of potentially missing the odds altogether). There’s no loss in doing this as you will always be matched at the best price available meaning you will get the lower odds you initially looked to secure if the odds don’t bounce up

Overall you just need to be fast too, have your stakes and odds ready to go once you can see a certain horse looking like it may be a good turnover opportunity. Have the bonus bet ready to place/confirm and then as soon as the lay price has moved into an appropriate price quickly confirm the back bet and then place your lay

is the dollar amount under the lay odds, the currently backed amount? so if i lay under that amount is should match immediately?

          • cashkingssupport Posted October 10, 2020 12:58 pm

That’s the amount of money available to be traded at, so make sure your lay stake is available to be matched before placing the bet (approx $42 for most lays on a $50 bonus bet)

In order to turn over the bonus bets properly I need to have at least 1k in betfair? 35 lay at 12 is like a 385 something liability/bet or am I still doing this wrong and I need to put the lay amount in the liability not the stake section ?

      Great chat

Hey mate, sorry missed your initial comment. The more you have in Betfair the easier it is to complete your bonus turnover, but you can get away with less than 1k, I would say roughly $500 or so is a good starting amount if possible. Your right in that a $35 lay stake at $12 odds requires a liability of $385 in your account. To decrease your liability you can look for odds a little bit lower, around the $8-$9 range.
