For the Pointsbet promotion, Geelong has played in two games this season where they lead by 10+ at H/T and then went on to lose, and once for an 18+ margin (Bluebets promotion).

Pointsbets promotion is slightly correlated with Sportsbets 12-up promo offered throughout the season, in which Geelong was equal best in the comp (4 games) for chocking a 12+ lead at a break. Obviously, with the Pointsbet promotion we need that lead to come at H/T not just at any break, but it is still a good indication that Geelong is prone to giving up leads during a game.

West Coast, while they have no real strong stats in regards to the promos, are slightly leaning more the other way. They have played in two matches this year where the Pointsbet double payout has occurred, winning one of these matches. Additionally, they have also won one game where they trialed by 18+ at half time (Bluebets promotion).

In our opinion, West Coast the reigning premiers, are the better team in this match despite the odds now slightly favoring Geelong. They clearly no longer have any troubles at the MCG, with the last match they played there being a narrow 6-point loss to Richmond in round 22, the competition’s benchmark. Prior to their Round 23 loss against the Hawks, most AFL fans would agree they’re the second-best team in the comp, and Geelong just has a knack of falling away in the finals series after a great home & away season, so we have to favor West Coast to win this match.

With this in consideration, and the fact that the stats lean in Geelongs favor of leading and then losing, we have decided to stack majority of the promotions hoping for a West Coast win. Good luck all and let’s hope we pull off a big win tonight!

Roosters v Rabbitohs – We don’t rate this game excessively, which is why it is only an optional play. Only hit this one if your Pointsbet account is in good shape (you place lots of mug-bets).

Roosters had the most number of games (3) in the comp where they conceded a try in the first 6-minutes and then proceeded to win the match.

The Rabbitohs have no stats for this promotion, which is why we have decided to just leave this game as optional, as it only half matches-up.

We plan to hit the two Saturday NRL games, which look much more promising, so don’t force hitting this game unless you really want something extra to get on tonight.
